The Desire.

What’s up with this life of mine,
So strenuous yet so light,
Rather boring yet with those whirlwinds.

Seeping through is an inbred desire,
Feeding my heart and ravaging my soul,
To wraparound the illogical and the dysfunctional,
And arcing around to hit the bullseye.

The desire is such that it weeps for attention,
Seeks to relieve but then again, gives birth to new tension.

So electric, it seeks to shape the world around,
And lay my life on the line.

The desire, to be me.
